Model Ships and things

I am now building the 1/200 scale KMS Bismarck, 1/100 scale Bluenose, 1/720 scale Admiral Graf Spee and the 1/350 IJN Yamato. I still want to get a lot more, but I'm running of space to store them. :(

Think I can fit a few more shelves in my bedroom, but not too many though and defiantly not 1 big enough for the Victory Models HMS Vanguard and the Caldercraft HMS Victory.

I also want to do the Victory Models HM Granado, Victory Models HMS Fly and the Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon.

One day they will get built, well should be able to it, specially as I have about 60 years or so, before I leave this world in a blinding blaze of glory. ;D

Well I survived earth hour. I not only turned off my lights, but I turned off the aircon and the computers as well for 1 hour. :) We all can do our bit too save energy, like turning the computer off, not just going to sleep mode. About time ALL new buildings had solar power panels added to the roof as standard during building!!! I hope to have a solar farm and wind turbine on the 15 acre block of land, I want.

Now if I could just afford it. :(

Hi everyone.

I'm now on DSP, (Disability Support Pension) at long last and all is going well. I'm getting $568.10 every 2 weeks. A much better amount than the newstart amout of $439.10.

Surviving summer with the aircon, well just surviving anyway. - LoL ;D

Bismarck and Bluenose are going very slowly due to the extreme heat here being experienced here in Aus. Bought another model ship book from Amazon, Ship Modeling Solutions. Will be very useful for work on Bismarck and any other warships I build. I am fully intening to build the HMS Fly, HMS Vanguard and the HMS Victory before I head for the great shipyard in the sky. I have 60 years or so to do it, so think I have plenty of time to build them and any others I want.. :)

I ordered some dvd's from the UK and they have finally arrived, both about trains. What else!!! LoL :) 1 is about the Swanage Railway and the other is about the West Country Branch Lines. Both are very interesting and providing lots of informnation on the railways and ideas for modelling.

The Swanage Railway dvd was ordered from video125 and the West Country Branch Lines came from Model Rail.

Some more model boats I have my eye on, both by Mantua. bruma & Trotamares, but at £111.95, I don't think I'll get them both at the same time. :)

Bit of an emergency Sunday night about midnight, when a florescent light fitting blew up and tripped the circuit breaker, even had the firies come out, (no fire luckily). The ballast unit had blown. 4 brand new light fittings are going in, (3 other light fittings in the room the same vintage). Was told that mostly they don't last anywhere near 20 years, so think we've done well. :)

Other Things

I have withdrawn my job application to Kmart with the following reason being given. "This Job application has mostly been done by case manager at Advance Personnel with little input from me and also questions in the test were NOT answered by me. So I feel I would be working under False Pretences."

Reason for blogging this is so that everyone can see just what they are like and hopefully avoid them. :)

Privacy or the lack of it!!!

I feel like withdrawing my job application from fuckmart oops I meant to say kmart as it's mostly based on lies. Lies caused by my case manager from Advance Personel.

Any unemployed or disabled people in Canberra reading this blog and needing a job network agency, my advice would be to avoid Advance Personel at all costs and goto Mission Australia as they are far better when it comes to dealing with you. :)

If your from Advance Personel and reading this, the way I have been treated by my case manager is deplorable. Now lets see: Abuse, Harrasment, Rude / Offensive Language, Failure to comply with Privacy Regulations and NOT HAVING ANY FUCKING CHOICE in things that happen to me or what sort/location of where I work. They have also NOT ONCE even tried to look for work in the field I want to work in. All this and people NOT FUCKING LISTENING to what I say or the complaints I have made. THEY ARE FUCKING INCOMPETENT. :(

Thinks thats all for now, more may come in the future. Stay Tuned

Build the Flying Scotsman and other things

I was having a nice sleep until my mobile chimed with a text msg from none other than Kmart, Now how the fucking hell did they get my mobile phone number. Think I know, my case manager at Advance Personnel passed it on WITHOUT PERMISSION. To me thats a MAJOR BREACH OF PRIVACY. Wonder if I could sue them for it, Hopefully I can.

Well a quick blog after having just updated the ACT Walking for Pleasure website, 0nly to find the domain has expired. :( Sent them an email letting them know whats happend.
_______________________________

Had a phone call from my case manager at Advance Peronnel saying she has been having trouble getting an email from Kmart, personally I hope she keep having trouble and gives up on the idea of me working there, as the place is nothing more than a slave camp for exploiting the unemployed and disabled, (well thats the way it seemed when I did the work experience there).

Bismarck and the Bluenose are plodding along slowly, with the Bluenose going slightly faster and the Billings Monterey being dead in the water for now. I will build her, just might be after I finish the Bluenose. :)

My Amati Bluenose build

Locomotive 45157
Well I have started the course again and I'm still enjoying it.I have finally managed to complete the hull planking for the Bluenose

I went to the model railway exhibiton, but cleverly forgot to take my camera with me :( Could always go to it today and get some photos, but don't think I can be bothered really. Probaly spent a bit too much money there, (whats new). I bought a Rotacraft tool kit, OO scale Class 168/1 Clubman 3 car DMU of Chiltern Railways, (I went on 1 of these last year, not this company though) and an On30 Scale pulpwood car from Bachman.

Hopefully the Build The Flying Scotsman will turn up next week as I want to get started on it.
